My first 200km

The "My First Ride" event series concludes for this year with the 200 km finale.

Meeting point: 7.00 am at the Augartensteg

Please arrive on time, feeling fit and well-rested. Anyone who hasn’t already received it will be given the stamp card for the entire series, along with some useful tips.

As this ride is very demanding, please note the following:
• Regular cycling throughout the summer or good stamina is essential
• You should have already completed a ride of at least 120–150 km
• Please allow the whole day
• The pace will be a little faster to complete the tour in a single day
• Bring working bike lights. It will already be dark on the way home

After discussing the ride rules, we’ll set off straight away and cycle via the Ragnitz/Hönigtal valley to Gleisdorf. From Gleisdorf, we’ll follow the Raab Valley Cycle Route to Feldbach. In Feldbach, after a short break, we’ll cycle over a few hills southwards to Bad Radkersburg. There, we’ll have a bite to eat and cross over to the Slovenian side to Mureck (bring your passport). From Mureck, the route takes us via Vogau/Straß, along the Mur Cycle Route back to Graz.

Distance: approx. 200 km
Elevation gain: approx. 1000 m
Terrain: approx. 26% gravel paths, side roads, cycle paths

IMPORTANT!
Everyone is welcome to join the “My first ride” event series. Out of respect for and to support less experienced participants, leaving the cycling group is expressly NOT encouraged. The pace will be slow/moderate throughout, and all participants must maintain this pace.

We look forward to achieving all your goals together and, at the end of the series/season, looking back with pride on the year and your achievements.
