My first 100km

We’re kicking off the “My First Ride” event series with the first 100km challenge.
Meeting point: 8.00 am at the Augartensteg
We’ll meet up feeling fit and well-rested, and will start by getting to know each other and discussing your goals, motivation and any questions you may have. You’ll receive your stamp card for the entire series, along with some useful tips.
We’ll set off together and cycle along the River Mur towards Leibnitz. The return route takes us slightly away from the River Mur via Hengsberg and Schwarzlsee. In addition to regular breaks for food and drink, we’ve planned a stop for refreshments near Leibnitz.
Level: for beginners
Pace: slow
Distance: approx. 100 km
Elevation gain: approx. 350 m
Terrain: approx. 25% gravel paths, side roads, cycle paths
IMPORTANT!
Everyone is welcome to join the “My first ride” event series. Out of respect for and to support participants with less experience, leaving the cycling group is expressly NOT encouraged. The pace will be slow throughout and all participants must adhere to the set pace.
We look forward to achieving all your goals together and, at the end of the series/season, looking back with pride on the year and your achievements.
